Like a Heavy Loaded Fruit Tree

Nobody cares what dress she wears at all
Tattered rags and paper bags and all
She's the one sleeping in the dirt
Drag her down, don't let her drown in dirt
- Beck, Soldier Jane

inner tube dress
Wondering what to do with those old inner tubes? And no, leaving them on the side of the road isn't a good solution. Make yourself an outfit! This dress, with matching handbag, was made with discarded bicycle inner tubes. I could probably make some assless chaps with all the tubes I've got in the garage.

I'm enjoying your blog since I found it, Pete. I ride those areas all spring/summer/fall with my bike group (TCBC). You obviously have a different idea about what's "rideable" than I do, however. I get twitchy when I can't separate myself from the traffic.

"assless chaps"?... Sooooo - anything you feel like telling the loyal readers here dude? Hee.
Personally I think a nice vest would be a good use. What method of construction would you use, glue?

What you cannot see in the picture is how much she must be sweating. Unless of course the back is backless -- or assless!

I wonder how many times the word assless needs to be mentioned before I get into the top google searches for assless?
