Project Suburban: Completed

The Suburban has been completed, almost 2 months to the day from when I started. There's been a lot of idle time in there. All told it was probably a weekend's worth of work. It's certainly not up to show condition. But it looks sharp and rides nice. Mission accomplished.

It looks great. I think it's my size. Do you leave it in your garage?

What a great color. Looking at that makes me sad that I wrecked my Dad's Schwinn Collegiate with the full Campy gruppo when I was 13...

Nice job, how about a little text on what you did to get it looking so good.

Cool Suburban in Lime. I had one of these last year. You are lucky to have the "cruiser" handlebars. Mine had road dropouts that were installed (supposedly) by local bike shops when road bikes were becoming more popular. The shops also apparently took off the front fender before selling the bikes. Mine looked like a lime green road bike with a rear fender...

Very nice, question, what did you use to take the rust off and polish it?
