Paul Douglas was so excited on the 10:00 news last night, I'm guessing he may have needed a fresh pair of shorts after the weather segment. The computer models are agreeing, he gushed, we're gonna get a crapload of snow! I'm paraphrasing, but barely. I hope your commute home tonight is better than this:
My commute was fine. I left work at 1:45.

That is an incredible video. Funny how human nature is... that despite all the problems, people keep driving, believing that it won't happen to them
It must be a steep hill with sheer ice. They had no control over their machines at all. Just amazing.
The video is astounding!
The way you just keep on riding through any conditions is inspiring. I hope to try commuting on my bike this year, once it warms up. Maybe once I have some experience at it, I'll try it in worse conditions, but I've felt that's not a good way to get started.
Thanks for that extra bit of motivation.
King5 - that would be in Seattle. When we were in Seattle recently I noticed that a lot of cars had studded tires. The locals tell me that Seattle is poorly equipped to handle snow and ice, and it happens seldom.
As for Paul Douglas, don't get me started. I can't stand that guy.
